As soon as forming and molding are removed Preparation should begin. Grinding, vacuum or abrasive Blasting to a 1mm profile. Remove all laitance. Repair defects...sacking should be done to all vertical surfaces. Remove all dirt and residue by vacuum and pressure washing. AQUAPLY-SL-P will be the primer coat and is designed to utilize moisture and displace it. Mix equal amounts by volume, parts A and B with a Mechanical mixer at slow speed until completely mixed.
DO NOT ADD THINNERS
Apply SL-P by spray, roller (epoxy grade) or squeegee,
...anti-foaming and bubble breakers have been added,
however, bubbles will appear during the penetration of
the coating... it is necessary to go over the area with a spiny roller prior to additional coats. Viscosity can be
lowered by warming product.
Additional costs are applied when the prior coat is thumb print tacky. No sanding is required between coats if this procedure is followed. This allows for a wet on wet application forming an absolute bonding of coats.

TROWEL AND BROADCAST
When optimum thickness has been achieved, and The previous coat has geld, the aggregates may the troweled on or broadcast. Walk on time is 20-24 Hours. Remove excess. REPAIRS Repairs to damaged or chipped areas are quite easy. The area should be segregated, cleaned; soap and water are fine. AQUAPLY SL-P then should then be applied to the segregated area. Add appropriate fillers and colors to match. Samples are maintained by the manufacturer to insure matching. METALS STEEL: Blasted to white metal, and treated immediately with metal treatment and immediately primed with AQUAPLY SL-P. Previously primed surfaces need not be blasted, The SL-P should be applied over the cleaned or pressure washed surface. Proceed with top-coats. Because of the high solids and the solvent free nature of the products, wet film or thickness equals dry film thickness. MAINTAIN ALL PRODUCTS IN SEALED CONTAINERS UNTIL READY FOR USE. DO NOT EXPOSE TO DIRECT SUNLIGHT OR FREEZING. |
