"...the Acoustical Flooring was installed into our live room by Sound Specialty Coatings. Since the beginning of our first recording session five years ago, we have been experiencing sound transmission between our two live rooms and adjacent iso rooms. We have double walls construction on all walls except between our live rooms where there are four walls. We hired a sound consultant to diagnose the problem and were told the floor was a major concern. The entire studio sat on one piece of concrete. After the installation of the Acoustical Flooring, sound transmission between adjacent rooms was now at least 10dB lower and a decrease in the overall noisefloor was 6dB. Now both studios can work on different projects at the same time as the transmission loss is about 70-80dB between rooms. We are totally satisfied not only with the quality of the product but the beautiful finish of the floor."
